From Training to Transformation: Workforce 2 Graduation Journey

On April 6, 2026, the Workforce 2 Brownfields Job Training cohort began a journey built on opportunity, resilience, and determination. What started as a classroom of individuals seeking a new direction has now become a group of 11 certified graduates prepared to step into environmental workforce careers with confidence and purpose.

Throughout the training, participants completed intensive industry-recognized certifications including OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, OSHA 15 Disaster Site Worker, Lead & Mold Awareness, Soil & Water Sampling, Confined Space Awareness, CPR, and additional workforce readiness training. More importantly, they pushed beyond personal barriers, long work schedules, transportation challenges, family responsibilities, health obstacles, and self-doubt to finish what they started.

This page celebrates more than certifications. It highlights the journey.
